ATHS Meeting: The History Behind the Re-enactment Characters that Gary Kempf and Chris Lueken Portrays

Chris Lueken (a.k.a. Sacajawea & a Union Civil War Wife) and Gary Kempf (a.k.a. Sam Pearman, Squire Boone, Simon Kenton & Jean Baptiste Charbonneau – son of Sacajawea) will present a program explaining and demonstrating who they are, what they do, how they do it, and why they do it regarding living history reenactors.  Period dressed reenactors will be present.  Also presented will be the opportunities that exist for those interested in the activity, where the opportunities are located, who to contact and where the accoutrements for the history period of interest can be obtained.
