Our African American population  encounters unique difficulties in establishing their genealogy.  For our Kentucky population the task has been made less difficult thanks to the efforts of Charles Lemons. He will present his Slave Registry for Kentucky- a unique interactive database which tracks both slave and the owner in Kentucky.
